Under the Stars Farm Partners with HARVEST RETURNS’ sustainable agriculture opportunity zone fund
Gloucester, Virginia, October 10, 2019 – Under the Stars Farm, LLC, a veteran-owned lavender grower based in Gloucester, Virginia, announced it has partnered with Harvest Returns’ Sustainable Agriculture Opportunity Zone Fund for an equity capital raise.
The funds raised will help the Under the Stars Farm team expand lavender production, and increase agritourism in the local area, which will drive added revenue and economic benefit to the community. Under the Stars Farm’s facility will be able to produce approximately seven to eight million lavender stems per year by 2021. The farm is committed to growing organic lavender without the use of synthetic chemical fertilizers, sprays or products.

The increased demand for lavender across the country has helped local lavender growers see a boost in consumer and business demand.
